Jason's impressive career includes performances with legendary musicians such as Arturo Sandoval, Jane Monheit, Kim Richmond, Wayne Bergeron, Andy Martin, Van Alexander, and George Benson. He is also a seasoned session musician, contributing to high-profile projects like Panic at the Disco’s “Pray For the Wicked,” Netflix’s “Mystery Science Theater” and “Mank,” CBS's N.C.I.S., DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls World Tour,” and the video game series “Fortnite.”

An accomplished educator, Jason is a sought-after coach and clinician at various schools while maintaining a thriving private studio where he teaches saxophone, flute, clarinet, and piano.

Jason holds a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from California State University Long Beach, where he was a Bob Cole Scholar and performed as lead alto saxophonist in the award-winning CSULB Concert Jazz Orchestra. He also earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities, double-majoring in saxophone performance and music education.
